• • Due to the short time previously available between acceptance of the abstracts and deadline for application of reduced fees, we have extended the application deadline to May 17. 

Dear prospective SSD20 participants, we received 300 exciting abstracts. THANK YOU!  We are currently distributing the abstracts for  review and we will release the outcome by May 8.

We can still accept a few abstract submissions for poster presentation. Please note: both Oral and Poster presentations of authors registered to attend the Conference give right to submit the corresponding manuscripts for inclusion in the conference proceedings. 

Today is April 19. In the past three days, we have received a flood of exciting abstracts. THANK YOU!

We also have a confirmed lineup of outstanding invited conference speakers and school lecturers that will share their knowledge with us. We are finalizing agreements with our many sponsors who will be given a chance to present the science behind their technologies.  

Another exciting option we’re considering is a job fair offering interview opportunities to young investigators.

We are currently assigning the abstracts to the Scientific Advisory Committee for their review. It’ll take a bit longer than expected to process them all but we’ll release the outcome as quickly as possible. We have also received several justified requests to keep submissions open a bit longer. 

Since we have booked a large and beautiful conference venue we do have room for more contributions. 

We have therefore decided to keep submissions open until April 30.
